Memory Tip from Seeing Music on the Guitar

Today’s Tip from my book “Seeing Music on the Guitar”:

To easily remember the fingering of the C Major scale, use this tip. On the A-string, you use fingers 2 and 4. Next, on the D-string, you use 1, 2 and 4 and on the G-string, you use 1, 3 and 4.
When you say it to yourself a few times, it even starts to sound kind of musical. Say “2 4, 1 2 4, 1 3 4”
